That's right. One of my characters hears voices in her head. Worse, they're usually arguing over what she should (or should not) do. As if she didn't have enough problems.

At this point, the only thing I know for sure is that by the end of the novel the voices (along with a few other characters) will be little more than a memory, but I have the feeling things will get rather interesting along the way.

When I first created her, this character didn't have any faults -- something we all know is pretty much impossible -- so I went back to the drawing board so to speak, and took advantage of her background and her upbringing to come up with the voices.

The voices by the way belong to her parents, and are her only connection to them, as they both died when she was an infant, leaving her to be raised by an aunt.
