Freak-Out Day
Today is the day I allow myself to freak out.
Yep, I've earned a good freak-out -- and I'm going to enjoy it!
I'm going to enjoy every second of wondering why the hell I haven't gotten further along in my WIP and why my outline still isn't done. I'm going to shake my head, pace back and forth, and talk to myself. Loudly.
I'm going to beat myself up with guilt.
And then I'm going to ply myself with coffee.
Then... guess what I'm going to do?
If you said, sit down and write, you're wrong!!!
I'm going to practice some more active avoidance...at least until the kids get home, the lawn guy has given me an estimate on the extensive work my lawn needs, and I've fiddled with my hair until it has perfectly springy curls.
THEN I'm going to sit down and write a scene/section or two.
