What kind of fiction do you write or would you like to write?
I have written numerous non-fiction articles and book chapters, mostly about maritime history and archaeology. Now I'm starting a sea adventure novel for middle-grade children.
Publishing credits?
Kwajalein, Lagoon of Found Ships (Three States, 1971), "Secrets of a Yorktown Shipwreck" (National Geographic, June 1988), others.
Are you working on something now?
Yes, an adventure novel for middle-grade children, involving underwater archaeology and modern pirates.
Do you have any writing goals/dreams?
Yes, I hope that my children's novels are published and that they inspire boys and girls to pursue careers in science--our planet needs them!
